HANNAH POWER

Student Spotlight

Hannah Power

Hannah discovered her interest in transportation engineering when she interned at Allan Myers. During her undergraduate years at Villanova University, she joined Water for Waslala to install water systems in Nicaraguan rural areas, trekking into the mountains to test water sources for safety. Encoutinger challenges like a washed-out bridge during a hurricane reinforcerd her gratitude for her engineering education's potential to address real-world problems. This experience ignited Hannah's passion for engineering service, leading her to volunteer in Honduras, advise Engineers without Borders at the University of Delaware, and soon serve as a field engineer in Bolivia, motivating her to continuously learn and improve as a servant engineer, particulrly in advancing transportation infrastructure.
