Nicole DiGangi

New Member Spotlight

Nicole DiGangi

Nicole is a senior project engineer on the Skanska Integrated Services Group that is working as a construction manager and adviser overseeing a project containing multiple primes. She moved to Pennsylvania two and a half years ago from Oregon for this exciting role. Since moving to Philadelphia, her industry networking has been limited to people on the project and a handful of company events a year. Nicole has discovered that becoming a PWC member has given her more chances to network and meet more people and learn about more companies working in and around the Philadelphia area.

When asked about her passions, Nicole didn't hesitate: people! Her favorite part about having moved across the country twice is meeting new people along the way. She loves hearing other people's stories on what got them to this part in life. She enjoys making connections with people and learning about what makes us diverse. As a relationship-builder, Nicole enjoys introducing different people from different circles in her life in hopes that they too will make a connection.

HANNAH POWER

Student Spotlight

Hannah Power

Hannah discovered her interest in transportation engineering when she interned at Allan Myers. During her undergraduate years at Villanova University, she joined Water for Waslala to install water systems in Nicaraguan rural areas, trekking into the mountains to test water sources for safety. Encountering challenges like a washed-out bridge during a hurricane reinforcerd her gratitude for her engineering education's potential to address real-world problems. This experience ignited Hannah's passion for engineering service, leading her to volunteer in Honduras, advise Engineers without Borders at the University of Delaware, and soon serve as a field engineer in Bolivia, motivating her to continuously learn and improve as a servant engineer, particulrly in advancing transportation infrastructure.
