2022 Recognition Awards
Our 2022 Student Recognition Awards brought 14 applicants from across the AEC Industry. Applicants represented high school seniors, the trades, and matriculated undergraduate students in a wide variety of fields. Each applicant was featured across our social media platforms , several were gifted with a one year student membership to PWC, and the four talented and inspiring women featured below also received a cash award to supplement their continued studies. Make sure to seek them out at an upcoming PWC event and welcome them all aboard.
Sarah Rodovalho is pursuing an MS in Construction Management and MS in Sustainable Design at Thomas Jefferson University. Sarah has also been a teaching assistant at Thomas Jefferson while pursuing these degrees. Before studying at TJU, Sarah was an architect in Brazil for 10 years..
Illa Labroo is pursuing Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Illa is also a volunteer with the ACE mentorship program, which helps teach high school students the basics of the STEM industry.
Angelique Rudi attends Drexel University, pursuing a Material Science and Engineering degree, with a focus on Biomaterials. Angelique has had the opportunity to complete three six-month co-op experiences and looks forward to officially entering the engineering workforce after completing senior year. .
Lauren Fick is pursuing an M.S. in Interior Architecture and Design at Drexel University. Lauren is also a Drexel Student Representative for the International Design Association.
